Abstracts and Registration NOW OPEN!

The ADMIRE Annual Scientific Meeting in Paris, Paris Centre de Recherche Cardiovasculaire (PARRC) 17th & 18th November 2017 will be focused on presentations from Early Stage Researchers (PhD and Post-docs) following and senior scientists of their selected programme session. The sessions will begin by the ESRs presenting 8 minute talks and 5 minute discussions, finishing with a senior scientist giving a 15 minute talk with 5 minutes discussion.

There will be prizes for best oral and poster presentation!

Important Note:

  1. MC Members are not obliged to submit an abstract to attend the meeting and these participating MC Members will receive ADMIRE reimbursement.
  2. Attendees who are non-contributory participants (not presenting at the Meeting) do not need to submit an abstract and may not receive ADMIRE reimbursement. They are required to submit a registration form.
  3. All ECIs/ESRs selected to present (Oral/Poster) will be reimbursed with ADMIRE bursaries. Those who want, can submit an abstract to be selected for Oral or Poster presentation. f course, best Oral/Poster prize competition is for juniors only. Of course, best Oral/Poster prize competition is for juniors only.
  4. Invited seniors who are presenting are asked to submit an abstract to be included in the abstract book.

The ADMIRE Annual Scientific Meeting in RCSI Dublin 2-3 March 2017 will be focused on presentations from Early Stage Researchers (PhD and Post-docs) following an introduction by their PI supervisor.  The ESR talks will be of 10 min duration with 5 min Discussion. The PI’s Introduction (5min) should give a brief overview of their lab’s research and put the ESR talk in context of the ADMIRE Action www.admirecost.eu

ADMIRE supported 25 Early Career Investigators (ECI’s *) to attend the meeting by providing a bursary of up to €850.

(*ECI’s are PhD students or postodoctoral researcher < 8 years post PhD).
